Annie Get Your Gun
When Erika left gymnastics, she attended a magnet arts middle school for theater. While she was there, she played Annie in scenes from Annie Get Your Gun and Snoopy in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. She also played a kidnapped girl in a local ABC special to keep kids safe from abduction.
TV Debut: After School Special
In middle school, I was asked to portray a kidnapped girl in a local ABC special to help keep kids safe from abduction. As 90’s as this is and as awful my acting was, don’t ignore the message: don’t get abducted.
Martha Mahr and Miami Ballet
Erika’s background centers heavily on classical ballet. She started her studies with Martha Mahr School of Ballet when she was 6: classes started right on time and students marched into the room with a polonaise, nobody spoke between exercises and you were expected to work your hardest from the first plies to the final fouettes.Continue reading “Martha Mahr and Miami Ballet”
Mar a Lago
Erika performed with a company at Mar a Lago, Palm Beach, FL for a private New Years Eve party for Donald Trump. They performed a variety of numbers from salsa to ballroom and then enjoyed a fireworks display. Costumes pictured are property of Dancesation Entertainment.
