These are some of the companies with whom Erika has enjoyed working:
Academy of Arts and Minds – Erika teaches acrobatics as a guest artist and occasional substitute teacher; she works with her own high school teacher/mentor Karin Bejerano.
Actors’ Playhouse – Erika has taught conservatory classes and summer camp here and appeared as “The Cow” in Paint! by Robin Seidman.
Big Apple Circus – Erika can be seen as Dr. Merry Poser (pronounced “Mariposa”) at Nicklaus Childrens’ Hospital in Miami, FL.
Christ the King Choir – Erika is a soprano and sings anthems with the choir on Sundays and cantatas for holidays, under the direction of Pat Matthews.
Christ the King Dance – Erika volunteers as a teacher/choreographer for a youth dance program. The first of its kind for this institution, Erika chartered this program for 7-14 year old students to blend ballet and lyrical technique into liturgical pieces offered during worship.
Conchita Espinosa Academy – Erika chartered this school’s Thespian troupe and led their “Theater Mastery” program and served as their Thespian Sponsor for 2 years. She started as a Summer Dance Intensive instructor, working with fellow Momentum company member Danella Bedford, teaching students ballet, acting, gymnastics and jazz classes while also preparing them for an end-of-session performance.
Fantasy Theater Factory – Erika has toured as “Dudley” in Never Everglades, “Goldilocks” in Gordon Gumshoe, “Marisabella” and “Juanita Limon” in Comedy with a Twist of Lemon and Try Day! as well as appeared in AFAB Karaoke, and a variety of Magic and Circus Shows around the South Florida area.
Foodplay – Erika toured as “Janey Junkfood” in the nutritionally educational show Foodplay, presented by Hannaford Supermarkets.
Kendall Ice Arena – Erika is currently the Ballet Coach for the KIA “Stars” program and USFS freeskate figure skaters.
Miami Acting Company – Erika played “Cassie” in A Chorus Line and “Ulla” in The Producers.
Miami Childrens Theater – Erika taught conservatory classes and choreographed their adaptation of Guys and Dolls for the MTI Junior Theater Festival 2012 in Atlanta, GA.
Momentum – Erika was a company member for 2 years and premiered several roles for childrens ballets as well as the concert solo “Surface of the Moon.” She served as the company’s artist-in-residence at Ferguson High School in 2011, teaching traditional German dance and choreographing a traditional Fasching Funkengarde.
The Original Auerhahn Schuhplattler of Miami and the German American Social Club of Miami – Erika performs traditional German dances for Oktoberfests in south and central Florida and has choreographed several other traditional German celebrations (Fasching, Maibaum, Karnival) for the GASC clubhouse in Miami, FL.
Powerful Huntress Productions – Erika’s own corporation, PHP has produced a number of various projects, from original variety shows to a full-length adaptation of A Christmas Carol, as well as fairy tale adaptations for children’s theater-themed birthday parties. While not a central focus of Erika’s career at the moment, this corporation still exists to market these occasional productions.
Shakespeare Miami – Erika appeared as “Hermia” in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and “Sir Andrew” in Twelfth Night. She has also served as choreographer, participated in several public readings and appeared in promotional materials for The Tempest.
