NaNoWriMo

So I’ve committed to writing my novel in a month with www.nanowrimo.org, the nonprofit that organizes the National Novel Writing Month where writers work to finish 50,000 words towards a novel in the matter of a month, specifically November.

That’s all.

I just caught up all my writing for the first few days; it’s amazing how much “daily life” interferes with creative endeavors.  Knowing my schedule for this week, including morning shifts and evening classes and other gigs this weekend, carving out enough time in a day to ALSO average 1600 words a day on a single writing project….

It’s boot camp, yo!

In a lot of ways, I’m highly motivated, super disciplined and stupidly enthusiastic.  But then there’s the desire to not drive myself insane.

But I’m definitely committed to accomplishing this task.  Should you care to tag along, please visit My NaNoWriMo profile and, well, eventually I’ll be making the product available here.
