This is Dr. Horner’s 30 Step Plan of Attack.

1. Eat fresh, organically grown fruits and vegetables every day. Include cruciferous vegetables at least 3 or 4 times a week.
2. Eat organic whole grains every day.
3. Avoid all health-destroying fats. Consume health-promoting fats every day.
4. Eat 2-3 tablespoons of flaxseeds every day.
5. Eat soy-based whole-food products several times a week.
6. Eat exotic Asian foods such as maitake mushrooms often.
7. Drink green tea every day.
8. Consume turmeric every day.
9. Eat at least one clove of garlic several times a week.
10. Include wakame or mekabu seaweed in your diet.
11. Take a whole foods vitamin every day.
12. Get adequate amounts of selenium every day.
13. If you are over age thirty-five, take supplemental coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) every day.
14. Take an herbal anti-inflammatory (Zyflamend) several times a week.
15. Do not eat red meat.
16. Avoid refined sugar. Use a natural sweetener such as Stevia instead.
17. Keep your body-fat percentage low.
18. Rarely, if ever, drink alcohol.
19. Never smoke tobacco products.
20. Don’t take birth control pills or hormone replacement therapy except in rare circumstances and only for a brief time.
21. Use only non-toxic cleaning products in your home and office.
22. Keep your home as toxin-free as possible.
23. Purify your body several times a year.
24. Go to bed by 10:00pm and get up before 6:00am.
25. Minimize your exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMFs).
26. Embrace thirty minutes of aerobic activity every day.
27. Practice a stress-reducing meditation every day.
28. Practice stress-reducing breathing techniques every day.
