Orlando, FL has a lot of activities to offer. Beyond the parks, Disney also operates a range of Disney Resorts and Downtown Disney, which is the old “Pleasure Island.”
Before this visit, I had never stayed in a Disney Resort. But staying at Pop Century, I was surprised to find that this hotel rate was comparable to motels off the Disney property. Plus, you get free bus transportation to the parks and the parks hold special hours for “resort guests” (some before the parks open and some after – this changes on a day to day basis and they will give you a schedule when you check in). Add this to the free parking at the hotel and these perks make staying “on property” quite a luxury.
