Erika attended New World School of the Arts performing arts high school in Miami, FL. She started out as a Dance Major but transferred into the Musical Theater program by her sophomore year. Junior and Senior year she was a part of the traveling musical troupe The New World Connection. She graduated as a member of the National Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Key Club and Vice President of the Spanish National Honor Society.
